There is a few ways to boot iPXE

1. Chainload with a properly configured dhcp server. This requires you to configure network boot as default, or select network boot in the bootup menu (don't know if that is what you mean by F12 or not since it is different between computer brands and models)

2. Burn iPXE to a USB drive and plug it in, many bios configurations defaults to trying USB boot first, but not all and it can be disabled so then you are back to going in to boot menu selection again.
