Tried to download a file using ipxe command line

47Mb takes 190 sec
1.6 Mb takes 5 sec

The driver detects the chip as rtl_hw_start_8168c_4.

Need help to increase the transfer rate for this chip.

The driver for the Realtek-based chips was rewritten in spring/summer of 2012. You should try again and see if things work for you now.
