my boss just tasked me with creating a boot cd that will emulate full pxe network booting so our pxe server can happily serve the proper operating system to workstations that natively are not capable of network booting. he wants it working by 5pm tonight Sad

i believe ipxe is the answer however with my time constraints i will have to research and study after the fact.. i am still absorbing pxe itself and got my baptism under fire in network booting this past monday.

does anyone know where i can get a cd iso image that will do just this? i can then worry about understanding how to make one later.

i realize and support that normally people require the person to study and figure it out for themselves but there is no way i will meet my deadline in this case.

any help will be appreciated.

thank you

Chuck
You can download a prebuilt iPXE iso from http://ipxe.org/download which you can burn to CD and boot any supported network card.
