Hi,

I want to boot a freebsd pxeboot file (doc: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/netw...e-nfs.html)

But, the pxeboot file need the root-path set to a nfs server like this "X.X.X.X:/my/path"

My script :
Code:
:freebsd
set root-path "X.X.X.X:/pxeboot/freebsd90"
chain tftp://X.X.X.X/freebsd90/boot/pxeboot || goto failed
goto start

but ipxe says "no supported root-path".

I don't want ipxe read root-path and set the value for me pxeboot

How can I do that ?

The error message is almost certainly coming from FreeBSD rather than iPXE, since that error message doesn't appear anywhere in the iPXE codebase.

I think the problem is that you have quotes around your root-path. Try changing the script to:

Code:
:freebsd
set root-path X.X.X.X:/pxeboot/freebsd90
chain tftp://X.X.X.X/freebsd90/boot/pxeboot || goto failed
goto start
