driver pub ? - nORKy - 2012-03-23 17:21

Hi,

Hi, i use ipxe.iso to boot the host and give myself network parameter (ip, mask, dns)
Whe it starts to download an http script, it says :
transmit timed out

At the beginning, I have this too :

Loading ipxe.krn...ready.
iPXE initialising devices...Ethernet addr: 00:1b:78:05...
Boradcom NetXtreme II (B2) PXI-X 64-bit 133Mhz
fw sync timeout, reset code = 1030003
NIC Link is Up, 1000 Mbps full duplex
WARNING: Using legacy NIC warapper on 00:1b....

is there a problem with the bnx2 driver ???

Thanks for your help

Yes, the bnx2 driver has several problems. There has been a Google Summer of Code project to rewrite this driver, but it has not yet been merged to the stable version. If you'd like to try it out you can find more information at this url: http://ipxe.org/gsoc/bnx2
