complete boot-server - Aigor - 2013-04-21 11:31 Hi, i'm quiet new on ipxe world, but i have successfuly setup a boot server that aid to install several kind of OS like linux, solaris, sparc even, and windows xp and 2003. My idea is, it's' possible "emulate" a complete wds server using ipxe? My goal should be build a complete boot server and install them in nas like synology or qnap or others. RE: complete boot-server - robinsmidsrod - 2013-04-21 18:40 You can install Windows using wimboot without need for WDS, but you won't get the benefits of their automation setup to decide which machine to install or not. This kind of behavior is possible to create manually with some sophisticated iPXE and server-side scripting.
