It seems i have found the fix for this issue. A BIOS upgrade to the latest version (1802 as of now).
Since none of the driver options to disable reduce speed on power down and friends worked, i ... |

You seem to be correct. I missed that.
Looking at the switch, after restarting windows the link speed is set at 10Mbps. And it continues to be so until the 1m30s mark, which is when it gets ... |
