Help with IPXE
Hi Guys
Im new to IPXE and wondering if someone can point me the right direction to some guide or manuals on how to get this working. I current use TFTPd32 upon a windows 2003 dhcp server to allow people to connect and pull of a Winpe 3.0 image which once loaded then map a drive to the server. It work really well but the speed on which it loads has always bugged me. I would like to get IPXE working to see if it speed up the whole process. My knowledge of linux, MAKE so build my own IPXE is going to be difficult without some help. I have followed the guide (http://ipxe.org/howto/chainloading) on chainloading successfully but get lost on the (http://ipxe.org/howto/winpe) one regarding Winpe. How do i load a wim file using IPXE? Any help would be appreciated. |

RE: Help with IPXE
You might find some help on http://networkboot.org/ to get started with the fundamentals. There is some documentation, and a lot of links to various tutorials and howto resources. Also remember you can use http://rom-o-matic.eu/ to build the iPXE binary you need.
