RE: iPXE & EFI BIOS
Today I've booted it again and found, that it firstly goest into AMIBIOS legacy BIOS mode, and then, if I press F1, it goest into EFI.
The question is - how to burn the iPXE code into the "legacy" BIOS if the image I download from ASUS site looks and feels like EFI BIOS? I was unable to find explanation about it. I still have an option to boot the computer with PXE, and chainload looks to work nice, but also there is an option to enable "EFI IPv4 stack" that I don't understand, will investigate it in more details tomorrow. I must admit, I just don't understand what the EFI is, and how to work with it..... |
