Yes, there is a fishy problem with pcnet32 in iPXE that also shows up when using VirtualBox. See this thread for a bit of detail: http://forum.ipxe.org/showthread.php?tid=6876&pid=9012
My suggestion would be to use the Intel e1000 emulation instead. The pcnet32 emulation is for 10/100Mbit adapters, but the e1000 is for gigabit. Unless you're booting something that doesn't support the e1000 I don't see any reason to use pcnet32 for anything. |
