iPXE & EFI BIOS

RE: iPXE & EFI BIOS
Hi,

I own an UEFI Board now, it's an ASUS P8Z77-V LX and I boot iPXE from dnsmasq on OpenWRT. However it's possible to sanhook or autoboot my iSCSI drive and boot linux but there's a problem booting windows cause iPXE is not registering the iSCSI volume as BIOS drive.

I found an interesting iBFT thread here, but it couldn't help me solve my windows boot problems.

The message "Registered as BIOS drive ..." does simply not show on my UEFI board.
As NIL explains it won't be possible to install or boot windows without hooking the drive as BIOS drive.

Is it an UEFI issue? Please explain me how to fix it!

best regards
