Apple Keyboards, EFI and iPXE
I have see a number of references to a known issue with Apple keyboards and in particular the use of the CTRL key. Has anyone made any headway in sorting out the issues or a cause?

Most likely their firmware is broken, see https://git.ipxe.org/ipxe.git/commit/8dd...06d8394af2 for relevant commit and workaround.

Thanks, I didn't even realise this was a known issue with a workaround and grudgingly avoided the config environment because of it.

@dev - Would be nice if the messages in iPXE, or perhaps online docs mentioned this. Wink

(for the record, I'm seeing this on fairly generic PC hardware - HP USB keyboard, Gigabyte Z87N board, booting the Intel NIC)
