82598/599
I'm looking at using at an application that would boot Intel 82598 or 82599 using iPXE, but the chips don't seem to be supported. Are there any plans? Anyone have an idea how much work it would be starting from existing code?

RE: 82598/599
The intel gigabit driver was recently rewritten. It is in a very good state for extending to support new intel chips. As this forum is mostly for user questions, I'd suggest you subscribe to the mailing-list and ask how to get started. You might also want to join the irc channel #ipxe on FreeNode, where several developers hang out.
