Hello!

I've done it several times but I still don't understand a proposal given in the vision. I see the petition that UEFI is a step back in regards to iPXE, but what can I as final user do with it? There is no ROM for the MB I'm using other than EFI based.

Quote:From what I understand, adding VVVVDDDD.efirom to the MB firmware should give you a network boot target in EFI, but you only have the basic features an EFI environment gives you (no iPXE HTTP boot and such). The EFI firmware should probably already have a PXE-enabled firmware for the network card that works.
Yes, there is an PXE module. Actually I don't know any modern MB that doesn't contain PXE inside. It's a solution (to do chainloading of the iPXE image), but it would be nice to have iPXE inside the ROM.

How can I do it if there is an EFI BIOS inside?
